FOR HOSTS

Is Ryvka free?

Yes. The pilot program is free for all hosts. After the pilot, we will offer subscription plans. Pilot hosts receive priority pricing.

How long is the pilot?

The pilot period is 90 days. You may discontinue at any time with no obligation.

What data do I see as a host?

Your dashboard shows total check-ins, unique visitors, return visitor rate, daily activity charts, peak days, and peak hours. You see aggregate patterns about your space — not individual personal information about attendees.

Who owns the data?

Attendees own their individual presence records. Hosts have access to aggregate analytics for their own spaces. Ryvka does not sell personal data to anyone.

Do I need any special equipment?

No. You need a printer to print your QR code and an internet connection to view your dashboard. Everything runs in a standard web browser.

Can I have multiple spaces?

Yes. Each physical location gets its own space and its own QR code. There is no limit on the number of spaces during the pilot.

What happens after the pilot ends?

We will offer continued access through subscription plans. All data collected during the pilot remains accessible. Pilot hosts receive priority pricing and early access to new features.

Am I required to tell people about Ryvka?

Yes. Hosts must inform attendees that verified presence check-in is available. Check-in is always voluntary — it must never be required for entry or participation.

Can multiple people manage the same space?

Yes. Ryvka supports multiple hosts per space. Additional hosts can associate with an existing space without creating duplicates.

FOR ATTENDEES

Do I need to download an app?

No. Ryvka works entirely in your phone's web browser. Scan the QR code with your camera, the page opens automatically.

Why does it need my location?

To verify that you are physically present at the space. Your coordinates are checked against the registered location. Your exact coordinates are not shared with the host — the host sees only that you checked in, not where you were standing.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Records are cryptographically signed with SHA-256 and stored in a database with row-level security policies. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We never sell your personal data.

Who can see my presence records?

Only you. Your records are private by default. You can choose to publish individual records to share them. Unpublished records are visible only to you when logged in.

Can I delete my records?

You can request removal of your personal identifiers (email) from your records. Contact privacy@ryvka.xyz. The anonymized record metadata may persist as part of the verified presence graph.

What if I don't want to check in?

Don't scan the QR code. Check-in is always voluntary. You can attend any space or event without checking in. Ryvka does not control access to any venue.

What is a VPR?

A Verified Presence Record. A cryptographically signed document containing your verified location, timestamp, and a unique record ID. It is immutable — once created, it cannot be changed.
