Privacy Policy

We collect the following data when you use Ryvka:

• Email address (provided at check-in or account creation)
• GPS coordinates at the time of check-in (captured via your device's browser geolocation API)
• Timestamp of check-in (UTC)
• Device geolocation accuracy measurement
• Browser-provided session data for authentication

We do not collect: browsing history, contacts, photos, messages, or any data beyond what is listed above.

To create Verified Presence Records (VPRs) — cryptographically signed, geolocation-verified, immutable records of physical presence at a specific location and time. This is the core function of the Ryvka platform.

• You see your own presence records in your dashboard. Records are private by default. You choose which records to publish.
• Hosts see aggregate analytics about activity at their space — total check-ins, return visitor rates, daily activity, peak times. Hosts do NOT see individual email addresses or personal information of attendees.
• Ryvka does not sell, share, or provide individual personal data to third parties. No advertiser, data broker, or external organization receives your personal information.

Ryvka may display contextual recommendations from nearby participating spaces after check-in. These recommendations are based solely on your current verified location at the time of check-in and are never based on personal data, browsing history, or information shared with third parties.

Presence records are stored in a secured database with row-level security policies enforced at the database layer. Records are cryptographically signed using SHA-256 hashing. All data is transmitted over HTTPS encryption.

Verified Presence Records are immutable by design. Once created, a presence record cannot be edited or altered by anyone — including Ryvka. This immutability is enforced at the database security policy layer and is fundamental to the integrity of verified presence infrastructure.

Presence records are retained as part of the verified presence graph. Users may request deletion of their personal data at any time by contacting privacy@ryvka.xyz.

Upon deletion request:

• Personal identifiers (email address) are removed or anonymized from all records
• The presence record metadata (timestamp, location verification status, cryptographic signature) may be retained in anonymized form — no longer connected to any individual
• Account data is permanently deleted

Ryvka uses essential authentication cookies only to maintain your logged-in session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.

Ryvka is not intended for use by anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
